Professionally
I have a background in Human Resources and Marketing, which provides me with a unique perspective on not only what HR looks for, but also the best way to market yourself to potential employers. For over ten years now I have been a certified resume writer. In fact, I was writing resumes for friends while I was in my teenage years! At this point in my life, I have in fact been writing resumes for half of my life!
In addition to being a Certified Resume Writer, I also currently consult for an internet company on marketing and perform HR duties when needed. We recently hired a team of six new sales people!
Personally
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 14 years now. He is my biggest fan and I adore him! He is originally from Japan, and as such we both have a love for pretty much anything Japanese. We have two children, ages 4 and 12 and make frequent trips to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The photo in fact, is on the ferry to Ocracoke Island last month.
My grandparents live nearby and we spend a lot of time assisting them with various things. As much as I hate that they are getting older and need more help, it is proving a good lesson for my oldest child, that we should take care of elderly family members.
Aside from the beach and helping my grandparents, I enjoy reading (I'm a sci fi/ paranormal fan!), gardening, decorating (we just gave my daughters room a make over this weekend!), and watching several anime shows ( I told you, I'm a bit of a geek!).
